Weekend of 9 – 11 October 2026
Hit Parade of the 50’s & 60’s brings a live-band tribute concert to the Redcliffe Entertainment Centre this weekend, while North Lakes Sports Club hosts free sets from Green Velvet, Shades and Cassi Marie, and Caboolture Sports Club, Redcliffe Leagues and the Oyster Shed at Sandstone Point add more free live music.

Green Velvet are Tony and Olivia, a duo spanning genres from classic rock’n’roll and jazz to disco, pop and today’s top 40 hits, playing from 7pm to 11pm.

Queensland cover duo Shades — fronted by vocalist and guitarist Rod Fraser — delivers an energetic mix of pop, rock and R&B from 7pm to 11pm.
Cassi Marie

Moreton Bay singer-songwriter Cassi Marie plays original material from 4pm to 7pm, drawing on more than a decade of writing and recording experience and five self-released EPs.
Hit Parade of the 50's & 60's

Glenn Starr leads Hit Parade, a live-band tribute concert covering the 1950s and 60s with songs by Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, the Beatles, Neil Sedaka, Gene Pitney and more. The show runs from 2pm to 4:30pm; adults $79.90, concession $74.90, children 2–12 $49.90.
Open Mic Night

Legends Lounge hosts an afternoon of local musicians, comedians and poets from 4pm. Walk-up performers are welcome to take the stage.
Sunset Sessions at Oyster Shed Beach Club
10 October 2026 | Sandstone Point Hotel, Sandstone Point
Live local DJs play from 4pm to 8pm at the Oyster Shed Beach Club, overlooking the Pumicestone Passage and Bribie Island. Entry is free and all ages are welcome.

Tribute nights to British rock and James Taylor filled the Redcliffe Entertainment Centre, with The Fabulous Caprettos on Bribie Island, an Oktoberfest party at Sandstone Point and free club sets through Redcliffe and Morayfield.
